What is Arc
Arc is Circle's Layer 1, where USDC is the gas token. Mainnet opens on 16 September 2026. It is EVM compatible, so your normal wallet works by adding the network.
A frog that dresses like a banker, on the chain built for settlement. That is the whole joke, and we are committed to it.
Questions
What do I actually get?
A Pond Pass with an entry number, and your wallet on the verified list. Allocations are revealed after Arc mainnet opens on 16 September.
Can I enter more than once?
No. One pass per frog. Your X username, your quote post and your wallet each have to be new, so a second entry needs a whole second identity.
My pass says pending, is something wrong?
Usually not. Pending means we could not finish a check yet, most often because the launch post is not up or X did not answer. We keep re-checking in the background and you can re-check from your pass at any time.
Can I register then delete my quote?
You can, but the nightly re-check will find it and your pass drops back to pending. The quote has to stay up.
Do I need gas or a wallet connection?
Neither. You paste an address, you never connect a wallet and you never sign anything. Nothing here can move your funds.
Is there a presale?
Not yet, and nothing is announced. Ignore anyone who tells you otherwise.
